We are a small team bringing out products and services that bridge the digital and print worlds. The products available in the market segments we have targeted are not really sufficient for users' needs so we are doing something about that.

Sync up with the group in the morning, discuss your progress/issues/needs, set your priorities and then get going. But how you do it is up to you. Work from home or not, start early or late, we're pretty flexible. There are still a decent number of pieces to the puzzle that need attention. The work is totally fluid: Some days it will be all about the code, others will be all about ideas, others about usability...

Describe the job.

We are working with Kohana/LAMP. Your part is focused on PHP/MySQL. You will be working with and tying into existing code, refactoring as necessary, and also developing new code. Many features will be easy, a few may need you to be well out of the box. There is a good mix - you won't get bored. You will integrate with developers working with svg/xml/Java/Javascript/pdf, so if you have also worked with SVG files and PDF manipulation or if you want to, then you may have other options once the PHP code is sufficiently developed.
